Еxhibition “Samokov’s Weapons during the Revival”
The exhibition “Samokov’s Weapons during the Revival” by the History Museum of Samokov will be held on March 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the central building of the Regional Historical Museum – Pazardzhik, located at Konstantin Velichkov Square No. 15.
The exhibition features 26 panels showcasing selected photo samples of melee and firearms from the Revival era, including weapons with flintlock mechanisms, capsules, and breech-loading. Visitors can see scimitars, sabers, pistols, and rifles (including boylia type, shishane, and kranka type), as well as the decoration on their metal and wooden elements.
The exhibition will also showcase weapons from the Regional Historcal Museum – Pazardzhik’s collection dating back to the same historical period.
