Easter Eggs of Bulgariа

On March 31, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., the exhibition of the History Museum – Velingrad “Easter Eggs of Bulgaria”will be opened in the Ethnographic Exhibition of the Regional History Museum – Pazardzhik, Otets Paisiy Street No. 8.
The exhibition presents different techniques for decorating Easter eggs in Bulgaria from the past (the period of “traditional culture”) to the present.
The richness of Bulgaria’s Easter eggs is illustrated with several exhibits from all over the country.
The exhibition’s creators are Georgi Kumanov – an ethnologist at the Historical Museum – Velingrad, and Dr. Petar Rusev.
