Trades in Pazardzhik

On April 2, 2019, at 05.00 pm, in the hall for temporary exhibitions of the Regional Historical Museum in Pazardzhik, 15 Konstantin Velichkov Square, an exhibition dedicated to the progress of trade in the city was opened.

It presents documents of the Ottoman administration in Tatar Pazardzhik just before the Liberation, photos of merchants from Pazardzhik with contributions to public life. Some of this people are Georgi Konsulov, Kara Nikola Angelov, Hadji Velyo Ivanov and others.

From the period of the new history, items of merchants from Pazardzhik and inventory from the shops in the city are arranged – scales, cash register-machine “National” from the 20s, made in Germany, imported manufactured goods, labels-samples of sold confectionery and wine.
