Boris Hadzhiyski is member of the newly founded Bi-National Commission for the Preservation of Bulgaria’s Cultural Heritage

On 25 June 2015 the US Ambassador to Bulgaria Marcie Ries held an event celebrating the establishment of the Bi-National Commission for the Preservation of Bulgaria’s Cultural Heritage. The goal of the commission is to study and evaluate proposed projects related with preservation of cultural heritage and act as representative of both Bulgarian and US governments. The ambition of the team is to promote the importance of cultural heritage as key element in developing tourism in Bulgaria. Members of the commission are experts from the academic community, the state administration and different NGOs. Among the members is also Boris Hadzhiyski, director of Pazardzhik Museum and chairman of Bulgarian Museum Association.
