Exhibition “The Birds. Images from the treasures of the National Ethnographic Museum”
The guest exhibition “The Birds. Images from the Treasures of the National Ethnographic Museum” of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore with Ethnographic Museum – BAS will take place on May 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The exhibition showcases a range of folk art crafts from the second half of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, collected by the National Ethnographic Museum. It aims to explore the connection between spiritual and material culture. The exhibition offers visitors a colourful palette of images, revealing a new, imaginative world of stories, myths, and images. The exhibition is a tale that builds a bridge between the past and present, tradition, and the world around us.
