An inspiring exhibition “Personalities and Events in Bulgarian Sport” was opened in the Regional History Museum – Pazardzhik. The event, which was implemented on the initiative of the “Touch the Rainbow” Association, the “Youth Sports Club Pazardzhik Sportuva” association, and the Regional Historical Museum – Pazardzhik, coincided with the annual congress of the Association of Sports Journalists in South-Eastern Europe.
The opening of the exhibition was honored by the mayor of Pazardzhik Todor Popov, the president of the European Association of Sports Journalists (AIPS Europe) Charles Kamenzuli, the former president of AIPS Europe Yanis Daras, the president of the Bulgarian Association of Sports Journalists Nayden Todorov, the golden girl in rhythmic gymnastics Reneta Kamberova, the Olympic judo medalist Georgi Georgiev, the European boxing champion Ergyunal Sabri, the volleyball legend Todor Alexiev, the president of VK “Hebar” Alexander Ivanov and the director of RIM – Pazardzhik Boris Hadjiyski. Sports journalists from Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Moldova, Cyprus were present.
The exhibition “Personalities and events in Bulgarian sport” will be a guest at the Regional History Museum – Pazardzhik until the end of the year, and it is planned to become a traveling exhibition after that.
