The association “Bulgarian Museums” received recognition for the development of Culture

On May 22, 2023, a ceremony was held in the “Sredets” hall of the Ministry of Culture to present awards to individuals and institutions from various fields of culture for their contribution to the development of Bulgarian spirituality.

Association “Bulgarian Museums” received a Plaque for overall contribution to the development of culture and a Certificate for contribution to the development and strengthening of Bulgarian culture and national identity on the occasion of May 24 – The day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature.

The award was presented by the Minister of Culture to Mr. Boris Hadzhiyski – Chairman of the Management Board of the Association, who thanked for the recognition and called on the state to place the development of Bulgarian culture and the preservation of our identity as a top priority.

The award ceremony was attended by the Association of Bulgarian Museums and Assoc. Dr. Sonia Penkova – a member of the Management Board. Nominated specialists from museums and art galleries were honored at the ceremony.
